NNMT inhibitor — metabolic and body-composition research compound.
5-Amino-1MQ is a small molecule that inhibits nicotinamide N-methyltransferase (NNMT), an enzyme overexpressed in adipose tissue of obese subjects. Inhibition raises cellular NAD+ and SAM and is associated with reduced fat mass in animal studies.
Oral, once daily with food. 8–12 week cycles.
50–150 mg per day; common research dose 100 mg.
Capsule/oral — no reconstitution required. If lyophilized: dissolve 10 mg in 1 mL sterile water for oral dosing.
Always use bacteriostatic water (BAC), sterile technique and store reconstituted vials refrigerated unless otherwise noted.
