Long-acting amylin analog — appetite and weight regulation research peptide.
Cagrilintide is a long-acting analog of amylin, a pancreatic hormone co-secreted with insulin. In research it slows gastric emptying, promotes satiety, and reduces food intake. It is frequently studied alongside GLP-1 agonists (e.g. semaglutide as CagriSema) for additive weight-reduction effects.
Subcutaneous injection once weekly. Titrate slowly over 4–8 weeks to limit GI side effects. Typical cycles run 12–20 weeks.
Research titration: 0.3 mg → 0.6 mg → 1.2 mg → 2.4 mg weekly. Studies have explored up to 4.5 mg/week.
5 mg vial: add 1 mL bacteriostatic water (5 mg/mL → 0.1 mL = 0.5 mg, 0.24 mL = 1.2 mg).
Always use bacteriostatic water (BAC), sterile technique and store reconstituted vials refrigerated unless otherwise noted.
